* A MUST FOR FIRST TIMERS TO MADRID. "Botín" at Calle Cuchilleros, 17. According to the Guiness Book of Records, Botín is the oldest restaurant in the world (crockery has been replaced). Order cochinillo (roast suckling pig). Advance reservations are recommended.
* HIGH GASTRONOMY, SMART DRESS AND… A LOT OF MONEY. "La Broche" at Hotel Miguel Angel, calle Miguel Angel, 29. Two Michelin stars. Gran Menú La Broche (large tasting menu) 125 €. Menú vegetariano (veggie menu) 85 €. Advance reservations are a must.

Great list and sorry to be boring, but I have to ask... did this list come from another website?! If so we could get in big copyright trouble!!

I know, I have aplogised by PM and feel bad :( ... but I was paranoid of being sued by TA and didn't realise Jose and Revulgo were one and the same!

Better to be safe than sorry... it's not paranoid. Some organizations are real vultures when copyright is concerned. ;)
