Hello ! Are you tired of Intercambios in smoky bars ? Well, this is the chance to meet Spanish/ English speakers, seeing the beautiful province of Madrid at the same time. On Saturday the 27th we are heading out to a beautiful old town called Patones about 60 kms north east of Madrid. The plan is to meet up at Plaza de Castilla at 10.30 to catch the bus at 11.00. The bus trip takes around 75 minutes to Patones de Abajo. When there, we shall walk up to Patones de Arriba and from there, walk on to Pontón de la Oliva and finally ending up back at Patones de Abajo to catch the bus back to Madrid at 7.15 p.m. arriving back in Madrid around 8.45 p.m.. As you can see, quite a long day but should be a lot of fun. We will be hiking around 15 kms so you will need to bring enough food and water for the day and appropriate clothing. The bus ticket should be around 5 euros return. Don't worry if you can't make it this time as we plan to do more trips.
