Hi everybody!
I'm planing to go to Spain in February/Mars, is it a good time to? In which place should I go (I've never been to Spain before)? Madrid, Sevilla, Barcelona...
Thanks for your opinions

I would go to Granada before Seville, it is much more interesting in my opinion, though I would wait until March for Granada, when it warms up a bit! Apart from that, Madrid and Barcelona are of course great!

Loulou,
How long do you plan to stay? If your visit will be a short one, like 10 days or less, come to Madrid, explore the city and then use it as home base while you take day trips to Toledo, Segovia, Ávila, El Escorial and Córdoba.

If you plan to be in Spain longer, like three to four weeks, then definitely do Barcelona, Madrid (with visits to the surrounding historic cities like Toledo and Segovia) and Sevilla, Granada.

I'm not sure when Semana Santa is in 2008, but make sure you book your hotel accommodations soon for Sevilla.

Thank you! Actually I'll stay about a week or 10 days.

I guess you have to go to Madrid cause it's the capital, but I'd really recommend Salamanca! It's really pretty, and super super safe :) Kinda small though. Barcelona's supposed to be really nice though. It depends what you want though. Sevilla's pretty but I dunno.. there wasn't something special about it for me. I liked Malaga though, although I'm not sure why. Good luck deciding!

If you visit Barcelona for a week you can take in the Costa brava, Monsterrat, the Roman ruins at Empuria, even the Pyrenees and parts of France. Don't forget Gaudi and the"Dali triangle".
At the risk of starting an argument I have to say that on my first trip to Spain, although I loved Madrid I preferred Barcelona.
Where are you leaving from?

Come to Valencia! It´s bound to be sunny, warm, and there´s Fallas in March.

Pinoso has absolutely nothing to offer. Keep well clear of inland Alicante.
