'Todavía huele a azufre' (it still smells of sulphur here) refers to another remark by Chávez which has become famous. Last year, he compared George W. Bush to the devil:

Chávez siempre está diciendo lo que le da la gana. (Renuncia/disclaimer) no quiero ofender a aquella gente que tiene Gilles de la Tourette de verdad, pero el presidente venezolano tampoco sabe controlar sus palabras. :rolleyes:

En mi opinión, la respuesta de Zapatero era muy sensata y razonable - usaba unos argumentos muy buenos.

Mi nombre en mi clase de español es El Rey Juan Carlos, por eso tuve un divirtido diciendo a la gente que se callaran tras esa incidente.
