If I ever move to Madrid I may not bother with a car and buy his and hers Vespas something like this new one. Can't see me turning up for work in the city of London on one but in Madrid I might just get away with it(!?).

I've got a Vespa ET4 (two year old model) - not nearly as beautiful as this one but the best way of getting around the city by a mile. I hardly ever get on the Metro or bus anymore (only when going out for beers!) You see so much more from a bike and get to anywhere in town in 15 or 20 mins.

Superb Ben! Perfectly sensible I think. A bit pricey the one in the pic though.

I saw a long line of chauffeured cars outside one of the government buildings and various well dressed, serious looking individuals were getting into them. Somewhere in the line was a scooter and out came a guy, late thirties I suppose, looking sharp in his pin-stripe and tie, popped on his shades, strapped his briefcase on the seat back and off he went. I don't think I'd look as cool as he did but it's worth a try....nice dream.:cool:
