Ben and Marina,

How do Spanish weddings differ from English/American style weddings?

Are there particular norms or traditions that are quite different from what we know?

Just a thought- this might be a fun podcast if you could crash someone's wedding with your recording equipment. ;D

Read the last chapter of "Errant in Iberia". Ben mentions a few differences there.

Be that as it may, it still might be a good topic of discussion. ;)

We're off to a wedding in late July, so looks like this could be a good podcast topic. The main differences are no speeches in Spain, lots of rice throwing, and far more spirits drinking! More at the end of July....!

There's an idea, I might actually get some work done if I ban myself for a couple of days!!!!!

Yeah, I hang around here when I should be doing more productive things, its addictive, plus its great to have been in at more or less the beginning, some forums tht have a couple of thousand subscribers are hard to get in to and have so many d*ckeads that its not worth sorting the chaff from the wheat.
I got worried when davood posted a million smilies but things have settled down.

The regulars are great and the moderation is second to none, so keep shirking!!

Thanks Gary, don't worry, the good thing about working from home is that there's always time for shirking! (Hope Marina doesn't read this...)
