My daughter's boyfriend is thinking of selling his product in Spain.

Would anybody be able to advise him whether he would be able to get a market stall in say, Ibiza for the summer, and how to get a licence for this or are market stalls for locals only.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I went to a huge market in the center of Ibiza, very well known but I can't remember the name I'm afraid, and it was full of non-Spaniards selling things. I'm sorry I can't offer more help, you may need to find and Ibiza-focused website for more info.

Cannot speak personally of the system in Ibiza. If the market is regular one (by that we mean not a car boot/flea market one), it is normal to obtain a licence from the local Ayuntamiento (town hall). In many places we have seen both what appear to be illegal stallholders and local Police checking paperwork, but never at the same time.
I bet to obtain a licence you will have to have at least a NIE plus maybe other paperwork.

Look up the slang meaning of "pajero"!:D [I always enjoy seeing that emblazoned across the back of a Mitsubishi 4x4 when it infringes my road space- it describes exactly what I am thinking about the driver!]

You`ll get a better translation in Argentinian Spanish as it`s more wildly used there than in mainland Spain.

Are Pajero`s popular in Argentina. Some friends from Madrid would agree.;D

:D Culture shock!

To hear a Mitsubishi of any type infringing on anything is something we don't hear everyday in Texas.

Looks like a good starter truck for the young fella';)

No, but you never have to fill the tank. You just pour the gas straight onto the ground. You get a little less mileage that way but you save from having to actually climb into the truck to turn it on.
