Does anyone know anything about the nightlife in Segovia? It is one of my considerations for study abroad, I know Madrid is close, and I think I would like LIVING in a small town atmosphere with access to the city, but then it would also be nice to be able to party in Segovia regularly as well.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

There is nightlife, but similar to any other small town, i.e. an area with a few bars followed by a mass move to another area with a few discos at a certain time of night... Go for a slightly bigger town if you want more fun. San Sab is the one for me from your list in the other post!

I'm studying in Segovia right now, and the nightlife is great. Granted, I don't live in a super large city in Michigan, but from what I and the other students have experienced so far, nightlife in Segovia is sufficient.
Like Ben said, there is a migration from the local bars over to a street off the Plaza Mayor that is filled with more bars and clubs. Like you said though, if Segovia gets too small for you, Madrid is only an hour away and a few of us have gone into Madrid around 9pm and stayed out until we got back on a bus around 8am the next day.
