Top 5 times of the year for me in Spain
1. When the weather warms up in the Spring and the countryside comes alive with wildflowers.
2. The arrival of the swallows and the swifts, wheeling round tthe town streets to announce summer is on its way.
3. Noticing the sand is getting too hot to walk on - you just have to lie down with a cold box to hand!
4. Arrival of thunderstorms and rain after the hot summer to clean everything of dust and green up the vegetation.
5. Sitting outside at a picnic site for Christmas lunch from a paella pan.
