The two Spanish contractions

I don't know why the contractions are difficult for me. I thought there might be a thread where they are discussed. Probably they are too simple for others on this forum, but I can't grasp them for practical use.

I think it's sometimes easiest to learn from ones OWN mistakes....sometimes examples in a book just don't penetrate our thick skulls - try as we may....so....
.....perhaps it might help you - if you send us 3 to 5 examples of sentences where you tried to use these contractions. Then we could correct any that were wrong and help you to see what your mistake was. :):thumbs-up: Ok?
