Over the past two weeks I received some interesting mails from friends back in Glasgow, as the press there were focusing on an important upcoming election. As well as the usual political sound-bites there were some saddening statistics circulated about the horrible social conditions of the voters in this area.
Today in my paper I read an interesting article in which a local Spanish journalist focuses on this and reflects on some of the political statements from Britain and makes some interesting juxtapositions with the current political climate here in Spain.
