MP3 player(Sansa) and podcasts here

I was hoping to listen to some of the podcasts available here, but maybe I won't be able to. hoping others out there with this MP3 player can confirm.

I successfully downloaded one podcast into Windows mediaplayer. I just attempted to copy it to my player and got a message that it's not supported on this device and that I should use a media program that can convert the file before copying it. guess it can only store it but I won't be able to listen to it. any ideas on how to get these podcasts on my particular player so that I can listen to them?

any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

Instead of playing it in Win media player (which will save them as .wma files I think), download the MP3 file by selecting download/save file on the podcast page as they are in .mp3 format there. Then try transferring that to your MP3 player.
Otherwise you'll need to find a file converter in download.com or similar site to change them back to .mp3 files
hope that's right as it's a while since I did that

actually, there is no "save" option. it immediately downloads when you click on "download". I'll check into that converter then. thanks for your help, I appreciate it!

That's what mine looks like on the podcast site - then click "download" & a Firefox window offers me the opportunity to play using Windows Media player or select another / download the file as MP3.
