Me ha encantado tu videoblog, y entiendo tus pensamientos. Hay mucha gente en el mundo que vive entre dos culturas y que tiene una herencia mixta. No veo ningún problema en eso, es posible de amar dos países o dos culturas. Solamente los nacionalistas tienen problemas de entender eso.

A veces, te envidio un poco porque vives en un entorno tan cosmopólito, internacional y abierto al mundo como Nueva York. Me encantaria vivir en un ambiente así. :thumbs-up: ¡Ojalá que hicieres (?) más videoblogs en el futuro!

A propósito, también tienes raíces puertoriqueños, ¿verdad? Raíces de Borinquen. ;)

eh!, hablas estupendamente, con fluidez y corrección en los tiempos verbales, generos y personas gramaticales y todo eso.
Encuentro muy notable que conserves el sonido 'c' (the lisp ¿no?) casi siempre que toca, porque es algo que no existe fuera de España, y no en toda. Es de suponer que lo aprendiste de tu padre.

La bi-culturalidad en las personas individuales no representa ningún problema, al contrario, mejor para aquel que conoce de cerca dos o mas idiomas y culturas. El problema es cuando toda una sociedad y la
administración y servicios del estado se supone han de ser bilingües (o mas), entonces es habitual el choque de trenes y nunca se llega a un equilibrio satisfactorio para todos. Si además ligado a la cultura/lengua existe un nacionalismo político, entonces la cosa puede salirse de madre cualquier día. Eso pasa aquí sobre todo en periodos electorales.

Valencia parece hoy día la zona mas pujante y dinámica de España si, la otra cara de esta moneda es que ya no debe quedar un metro cuadrado de zona virgen donde no hayan edificado y que autenticos 'capos' de la
corrupción y el tráfico de influencias (algún presi de Diputación provincial p.e.) son reelegidos una y otra vez por muchas denuncias judiciales que tengan e historias escabrosas en que estén implicados.

Que diga, crigeo cuando lo miro:rolleyes: Mi madre es de Puerto Rico asi que soy medio borinquen pero no hable español hasta que fui a España en el 73 por un año. Mi acento es bastante mezclado. Aunque naci y vivi en Nueva York, ahora no vivo alli ahora. Vivo afuera de Washington DC (unos 4 y medio km) en Silver Spring, en el estado de Maryland. No como Nueva York pero bastante cosmopolita.

the next time i go to new york , i would like to visit places outside manhattan, i dont know, nice neighbourhoods, nices unifamiliar houses, sites like that, and wifi in vlaencia, sorry but i dont, the best way is to go to ayuntamiento plaza and asking in the tourist information that is located at the same ayuntamiento,, dont forget to tell us about your dad impresion when he returns to the states.
