PRI's The World has an interesting radio report on the fires in Galicia, backing up the fireman and developers as arsonists theory again. Click here to listen (http://audio.theworld.org/wma.php?id=08163) (not sure if it will work outside Windows?)

Very interesting. Sad too. Hopefully the arsonists can be stopped permanently. A fire economy, now that's a sure sign that reform is necessary.
My preferred radio station which is an NPR station also plays The World.

Sickening. Between wasteful sandwich shops and the consumption of all those greenlands, there's no wonder resources are scarce.
It's disgusting to exploit the beautiful Galician countryside for financial gain, and just another proof that the almighty Euro is all that matters to some people.
