Pensión in Girona or Barcelona?

We will be doing the cheapo Ryan Air flight to Girona in April, just for a long week-end. Hope to enjoy Girona and also take the train into Barcelona and stay overnight. Ryan air arrives quite late in the evening, so am looking for a place to stay in Girona not to tricky to find, and hopefully walking distance from Bus/Train ready for Barcelona also! If anyone has any suggestions from their visits, I'd love to hear! thanks

I'll answer my own question here in case it is useful to anyone else. We stayed at Hotel Margarit in Girona - good rooms for a good price. Singles are 30 euros not refurbished (which were fine) or 33 euros for the rooms refurbished in 2008. 5 minutes walk from railway station and bus station. Great location to walk around old Girona, walk the walls, etc. http://http://www.hotelmargarit.com/

I stay in Hostal Barcelona (http://www.barcelonahostal.com/) when I'm in town. Its 100m from Paral-lel Metro station which is 3 stops (green Line 3) from Sants the mainline station. Line 2 alsoi runs from Paral-lel and runs to Sagrada Familia/Hospital St PauClean and in a good position for Metro/Bus or walking round Raval/Ramblas/Gotico you can get breakfast and thares a lift.
