According to yesterday's TV, The rain and snow that fell in La Alberca, at the foot of the Peņa de francesa, exceeded all known Spanish records. Apparently we had 55litres / sq metre. It fell as both snow and rain all week. And I am here getting 15 Spanish school teachers to immprove their English. Thank heavens their is a huge log fire blazing in the bar. :D

I'm only about an hours drive away. No snow here at all, the locals say there never is. Apparently it's something to do with Ciudad Rodrigo being surrounded by mountains that mop it all up for us.
