Hola a todos!

Mi nombre es Iina pero mis amigos me llaman Inna o Syro ;D Soy de Finlandia y hablo finés y inglés. Yo tengo 22 años y tengo dos hermanas pequeñas; Tiia-Tuulia tiene trece años y Kristina Kaisa tiene ocho. Yo vivo sola pero afortunadamente mi madre y Tiia viven muy cerca. Mi padre, su mujer nueva y Kaisa viven en otra ciudad. Yo trabajo en un jardín de infancia y normalmente me gusta mi trabajo -- pero no siempre!

Me gusta ver peliculas (me encanta mis DVDs mucho!) y la televisión. Me mola Supernatural, Genesis y Los Serrano! Mi música favorita es Disturbed, Angels & Airwaves y Fran Perea.

Mi mejor amiga cumple 24 años mañana y vamos a celebrar un poco en su casa! Pero no puedo celebrar mucho porque tengo que trabajar pasado mañana...

Oh, he estudiado español solamente durante un mes! Quiero aprender español un poco porque vamos a ir a España con mi Madre en Marzo a visitar nuestro amigos nuevamente :D

Tu español es bastante bueno, y eso sólo con un mes!!! Increible!!! Enhorabuena!!!

I'll try to correct your errors, but I'm sorry if my english is not the best one to do it :-)

1. "Soy de Finlandia y hablo finés y inglés" must be "Soy de Finlandia y hablo finés e inglés"
The letter "y" sounds in spanish exactly the same that "i", so when you have to use "y" and after there is a word beginning with "i", we change it by "e". Examples: "España y Alemania", "Finlancia e Italia".
2. "... y vamos a celebrar un poco en su casa!. Pero no puedo celebrar mucho porque" must be "... y vamos a celebrarlo un poco en su casa!. Pero no puedo celebrarlo mucho porque"
"lo" here means "it" in english. What are you going to celebrate? your're going to celebrate "it". In spanish we use the suffix "lo" or "la" like in english it's used "it". One thing more: "lo" is for male things, and "la" for female ones.
3. "...en Marzo a visitar nuestro amigos..." must be "en Marzo a visitar a nuestros amigos".
- "a" because the verb is transitive, so it needs a direct and maybe and indirect complement to get a full meaning. For example: You cannot say "I give" alone. You say "I give something to anyone". something is the direct complement and anyone is the indirect complement. So the english "to" is like the spanish "a". More examples:
- "Veo la televisión" ("la televisión" is a direct complement)
- "Dale una patada a Juan" ("una patada" is the direct complement and "Juan" is the indirect complement so there is before "a")
- "nuestros" due to "amigos" is plural too.
4. The last one and it's a general recomendation. You don't need to use the subject when the verb alrady indicate it. For example:
"Yo tengo 22 años y..." is exactly the same that "Tengo 22 años"
"Yo vivo sola pero... ". Better to say "Vivo sola pero..."
"Yo trabajo en un...". It's better to write "Trabajo en un..."

In any case.... I'm really surprised by your incredible level.

First of all, THANK you so much for such detailed explanation! It was exactly what I was looking for, if not even better ;D -- and I understood your english perfectly so there's absolutely no need to apologize, either.

That last bit makes me nearly blush... I guess I've just studied hard, watched loads of series such as Alias with spanish subtitles and of course, Los Serrano! It's one of those shows we can spend hours and hours watching with my sister.
