Un vino de la bodega española Viñas del Jaro, el Chafandín 2003 de la Ribera del Duero, fue elegido el miércoles el Mejor Tinto del Mundo en el prestigioso certamen International Wine Challenge (IWC) que se celebra todos los años en Londres.
Bet we can't afford that one!

I don't see that wine being mentioned in our cheap wine thread.
Speaking of not seeing, I couldn't see the web site you posted as a link, I got the dreaded 404 error message.

Sorry - Las Provincias seem to have let me down for once. I've replaced the link (http://www.lasprovincias.es/valencia/prensa/20060908/ocio/vino-espanol-mejor-tinto_20060908.html) here so we will see if it fails again.
