I somehow found Ben and Marina's podcasts in early July and had not listened to them until yesterday. I was flying (as I do every week) from Orlando to New York City and was quite nervous due to the fact it was the 5th Anniversary of 9/11. This kept me calm and focused on other things while flying.

I was an exchange student in Malaga back in '85-'86. I have gone back every other year over the past 20 years to spend time with my Spanish family. I have wanted to move to Spain for the past 20 years but just never figured out the way to do it.

This year during the Feria de Malaga (August) I met a wonderful Spanaird and am going back to see him in 66 days. He hopes to come here in Jan/Feb and then we will just see where it goes. This forum will hopefullly help me with my Spanish as I rarely speak it. He only speaks Spanish so all text messages, phone calls and letters are in Spanish. :)

Love listening to the dialogue and more importantly the banter between Ben and Marina!! Ben just now reading your book and it is TRULY inspiring me!

Hasta pronto,
Ruth Ann

Hi Ruth Ann, and a big welcome to the forum. I'm really glad to hear that you are enjoying the book, and that exciting things are going on in your life since the Malaga Feria! I have always wanted to go to the Feria, but never made it - a good friend of mine says it's the best in Spain. Have you got any pics you could post here for us? Hope to chat more with you in here, Ben

Thank you Ben for the comments. Feria de Malage is absolutley something -- my friend from the US that went with me called it "Mardi Gras on speed".

I will definitely post some pictures. Where exactly do I do that?

Hasta Luego,
Ruth Ann

Hi,
In the 'Your Notes from Spain' section would be best. There is a post here (http://www.notesfromspain.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43) explaining how to do it. I look forward to seeing them!
