I'm going to be traveling in Spain with my daughter and 2 of her friends in early July. Does anyone have a suggestion for a hotel/hostal in Segovia? I seem to be having a hard time finding one on my own.

Thanks!

It's ages since I've been to Segovia but we have just had our fourth or fifth successful hotel through booking.com. They may be worth a look.

Segovia I love but I stayed in the parador twice a few years ago- one from choice, the secondr for a business meeting, there won't be a third time! Cold, boring, out of town and crap food

I stayed once a few years ago in the hotel Infanta Isabel, which is located in la Plaza Mayor, in the centre of town and near the cathedral and 10 minutes walking from the aqueduct. http://www.hotelinfantaisabel.com/segoviahotel/esp/index_esp.html

I stayed once at Las Sirenas (http://www.hotelsirenas.com/) and found it to be very clean, comfortable, and centrally located.

Also, I have stayed twice at Hostal DonJaime (http://www.hostaldonjaime.es/)and found it to be family run, clean, and a great experience all around. It was very affordable, also. They have a new part and an old part. The new part is quiet, private, and a great place to stay. The old part is like being a part of someones home. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. I would go back in a minute!

There is a FANTASTIC restaurant just outside of Don Jaime's doors. Don't know the name, though. It can't have more than 8 tables so get there early for a table at lunch, traditional food like suckling pig and lamb and it is not touristy - mainly I think because while the Hostal is hard to find, the restaurant is even harder. And, most tourists don't venture outside the walls and this is just on the outside of them.

The link for Don Jaime does not seem to be working, maybe you can find some other way to contact them?
