I spent 2005 Christmas/2006 New Year/Los Reyes in Spain and was invited to attend a matanza in a village in Murcia. Despite the squeals of the pig, the experience was absolutely amazing - I'm so glad I went along. The family atmosphere, the way they made us feel so welcome, the food and drink ... not an experience I will forget in a hurry!
