More foreign pupils came to school than Spaniards this term as the number of immigrants rises

"There are immigrants in my daughter's class – she is one of them - but this does not cause difficulties.
That is refreshing to hear. The definitions of 'expat' and 'immigrant' were starting to feel a little bit elitist. When is an expat not an immigrant I wonder?

When you not in your home country. An immigrant cannot be an expat as the new country is now home. Just an opinion from a lifetime "expat".
