¡Intercambio! ¿Qué puedo decir?

I am a member of a Spanish meetup group so now have regular opportunity to practice Spanish. For some time I have been a little timid about speaking in Spanish. I feel that I am probably over that, but still speak little simply because I can never think of anything to say.

Can anyone direct me to sites that have worksheets, or suggestions for subject prompts to help me out?

Thanks

Jim

Blogger had some cool worksheets for prompting discussion or conversation here:

I would be interested in doing them, but they are .pdf files and my computer will have nothing to do with them! Maybe you can start doing one here and we can reply to it.

pdf reader is free and available on anything that you might call a computer - even a Microsoft one ;D;D;D

Yer I know but I couldn't resist it ;)

You can download the reader here : http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/

Hope that helps and that there isn't some nasty bug reason that you can't read them. But that would be a shame as there are mountains of stuff on pdf out there - even Ben and Marina's notes are all pdf.

Cheers

just be natural

Jim,

I wouldn't worry too much about sourcing cheatsheets. Intercambios of all types are a bit like dating, just be natural. Talk about what you did this week, what film you last saw. Ask questions which will get the other person to speak for a bit while you listen.

Remember, it's just that you have less words at your disposal. But even with limited vocabulary it is quite possible to have an interesting conversation.
