Reregistering your car in Spain.

Having just returned from Spain and spending a fortune on car hire, I had decided to buy a second hand car in Spain.I didnt realise how expensive cars are Spain and I am now thinking of buying a left hand drive car in England and driving it over to Spain and leaving it there for as and when I need it ( because I have property there and travel to Spain quite a lot). Can anyone tell me about the process of re registration of a car in Spain or maybe books that explain the process.
I know there are people or companies that provide this service , but I would rather learn how to do it myself if that is possible.
Gracias de antemano

Hi,

Yes, you can do it yourself. Have a look here to start with:

Brian Dellerīs Motoring in Spain is a good source.

It helps if you can speak some Spanish. Be patient, persevere and you will get there.

Good Luck

There was a thread in the forum about it a little while ago.
