Hola;
When listening to Ben in Spanish on the New York subway I cannot hear a thing he is saying. Marina is as clear as normal. Does anyone else have the same problem. Chao, Robin |

Sorry about that... we realise that in earlier podcasts particularly Marina came out louder (her voice has more 'presence'!), and we have really tried to remedy that lately.
I would also really recommend some ear-canal headphones for listening on any form of public transport - I have the excellent Sennheiser CX300 phones - they really cut out most of the noise and leave you to hear podcasts etc really well despite the surrounding noise. |

Ben;
Thanks for the recommend for the ear plugs. The only problem in canceling out the noise on the New York Subway is that I will not be able to listen to my fellow commuters who are speaking Spanish. Some of the conversations are quite illuminating and a little more explicit than NFS! Keep up the good work. Cheers, Robin |

Same problem here is the Paris metro & streets. And even Marina doesn't get through to my eardrums. I generally only can listen to the pods when i'm out dando paseos in the parks...

Until now I've only listened to the podcasts at home (no problems with the sound at all), but one of my new year's resolutions is to buy an ipod so I can listen to the podcasts on the train on my way to and from work.
I'm quite looking forward to it! |

I've got most of the beginners podcasts on CD and I listen in the car. I've tried playing them straight from my N95 but the speakers just aren't loud enough. Ben's coughs often scare me... even if it's the fourth or fifth time I've listened to the episode!

Why a couple of weeks ago, I saw Ben and Marina in Silver Spring, Maryland in my humble home. On tv. One of their Videoblogs on Apple TV
