I thought this little tip may be of interest to you Appleites:

The much publicised drop in signal strength of the iPhone 4 can be very simply overcome by applying a narrow strip of Sellotape to the metal aerial strip on the left side of the phone, stretching from just below the volume buttons to just around the base.
This obviates the need to apply Apple’s solution of encasing the whole phone in a rubber “bumper”, which is not only unsightly but makes the phone too large to fit into many carrying cases.

The tape's adhesive might prove corrosive over long term exposure. Apple will be offering alternatives to the bumper, to iPhone 4 customers for free.

The bumper is the case... and theyre soon to be free to all. Have to say, only had a couple of issues with signal strength - the 3G did the same as I remember then settled.

Footnote - sold my old 3G for £180 - Apple kit definitely holds its value.

Anyone know if there will be a new ipod touch? With camera? I've been holding on just in case for months, and my 4gb 3rd gen ipod is full...

I would hold on until September which is when the iPods usually get an update.
