Default Word for also, besides, as well...

When would "además" be used instead of "tambien"?

Seems like it's "furthermore" or "beyond that" or "on top of that".

I sometimes say Encima to mean "and on top of everything...".

Must check if it's correct but I'm pretty sure that I have heard it around.
