Default Another street sign

Here is another sign I came across this week while wandering around Madrid, one I thought I may get into trouble for if I posted it on the blog, though really it is totally unoffensive (I have been reprimanded in the past for posting things that are 'not safe for school use')

Click to enlarge and tell me which two films are referenced and what on earth the clever marketing message is (which I can't work out, though the ad certainly got my attention!)

"El sexto sentido" apart from being a movie is something women are supposed to have. Men are more better for their "instinto básico". The "Cambio X for Y" is a typical paper ad structure too. The ad is for men's underwear, and she's saying she wants to be a guy (to wear the things, obviously). If I read it properly, it says "quién fuera hombre" [it'd be great to be a guy] on the bottom, so I guess it's most likely that.

Now, if you excuse me, I'll go back at staring at the pic

I went, but only for the sake of... uh... science, yeah. They have another two slogans on the same line: "Cambio mi complejidad por una mente simple." and "Cambiamos cutis perfecto por una barba de tres días". They don't need explaining, do they?

A question for you English speakers... Can you think of a good way of saying "Quién fuera hombre"? 'Cause I can only make it with a "I wish I were a man" / "If only we were men" kind of structure... but I can't think of a more impersonal one right now.

"If only I were a man" sounds fine to me. That´s the way I translate "¡Quién fuera rico" if only I were rich!

This youtube video carries the joke to its tasteless end - unless you know different?

I see this everywhere, but usually on ths bus so I haven't seen the bit on the bottom before.

Anyway, I love this advert

I appreciate it for its artistic qualities above all else of course, I can see past the extremely attract girl and the provocative message the poster is communicating to appreciate it on a level that would be akin to how I appreciate the Mona Lisa, or Van Gogh's Garden.
