Puede alguien cuenta me,?cual es la differencia entre el verbo " recordar" y el verbo " acordarse".?Son los dos igual?Gracias Gary

Well, in fact the meaning is so similar!
Perhaps we use the verb "acordarse" at puntual moments, for example:
- Te acordaste de comprar el pan?
Here we don´t use "recordar" because this verb is used for experiences or past moments, for example:
- Recuerdas cuando nos conocimos? (Here we are trying to remember all what happened the day we met for the first time)
