Default "Recordando el ayer"

Is the title of a recent documentary film by the director Pedro Sánchez. The film has been invited to participate in April 2009 at the “Festival de Cine de Málaga”.
It is a very interesting project which travels back in time to the 50's to recreate the life, work and customs of Torre Alháquime a very small rural Andalucian village located near Olvera.
With help from the current population the production team were able to make an authentic recreation using clothes and artifacts etc from the 50s and notably using locations which have changed very little over the years.
It seems that the film has achieved it's goal by bringing to light some of the lost rural traditions and working environment of life in this region over fifty years ago.

Fortunately for those who have an interest in this film there is an excellent web site, which includes a short film trailer and fotos. The web page is fairly new and no doubt will have addition articles in the near future.
