Default Spanish Word Game

Here's a great way to exercise your command of Spanish vocabulary. There are only 2 guidelines:

1. I'll start by posting a word, and the next person must re-arrange the letters to make a new word, substituting ONE letter if needed.

2. You can't post more than once in a row- in other words, wait until someone else has posted a variation.

I'll get us started:

Hey yeah, is SOMAR really a word? I've seen the verb asomar, but not somar.

Marina, we need a ruling!

After further research of my own I've concluded that I was in error and the word is asomar which of course disqualifies somar as an entry. My apologies.
