La lápida del «Gran Lafayette», ilusionista que murió en un incendio en un teatro de Edimburgo en 1911. En frente de su lápida hay otra en posición horizontal que conmemora su perro «Beauty» que le había dado Houdini al Gran Lafayette. Beauty murió cuatro días antes de su amo.

It's a pre-Inca pyramid in the centre of a working class neighbourhood of Lima. I'm readying 4 blog entries about Lima's long and surprising archaeological history which should be up soon. I'll let you both know when.

Well, we have had some poor weather in Madrid these past few days. I have had to wear a jacket and last night I think we had a month's rainfall in about two hours!!!
But not today. The sun is shining, it's too warm to walk even in a tee shirt and somewhere a terrace is beckoning for lunch.
Spain is how many hours away from you lot? You could be here tomorrow.
