Default Rabbit recipes

Hola todos - I just bought a half rabbit and I need ideas how to cook it for lunch today. The package says 'para paella' which I might do, if I have all the stuff in the house. What would you do with half of a rabbit? This is a sort of novelty for me since in the USA we don't eat rabbit much. Here in Spain its quite common.

I'd chop it into smaller pieces and quick fry with salt and garlic. Then I could have it for lunch with some fresh bread and salad.

Do you think rabbits are too cute to eat , or do you have some other recipes in mind?

P.s.: Jamie Oliver acquired many recipes in rural Italy, I can't see anything wrong with that! And yes, I love his Italian cookbook.

actually, to me it brings up a childhood memory; the time my father served me rabbit, but told me it was chicken, as if I woudln't be able to tell the difference!

Chop the rabbit into small chunks. Place into a slowcooker add all veg, water and a couple of stock cubes. Cook throughout the day. Fantastic. And very easy. Cooking as you work, cant beat it.
