Default The English bullfighter

I don't really approve of bullfighting but the fellow who went over to Spain from England to become a bullfighter has an interesting story and is obviously a real character. He is still in the ring after a quadruple bypass! The BBC have done a 30 minute interview with him.

"On The Choice this week Michael Buerk talks to Frank Evans, a butchers boy from Salford who dreamt of becoming a bullfighter after a holiday in Spain. The decision to become a matador meant he had to fight his way into the most dangerous and controversial sports in the world. It brought him ridicule and condemnation along with injuries in the ring and death threats out of it. But it was a choice he kept making despite a fearful wife and family and eventually despite ailing health." - BBC

To say that I don't like the bullfighting, but he was valiant for two reasons:

1) He liked something that belonged to another country, and that it was something that it didn't like to many people

2) To be planted near of a bull. It is necessary to be planted with a bull

Sorry, he has already a nickname.
'El inglés'. Descriptive, but no very original indeed.
