Default Golden Balls

Never actually seen this show, but the clip provides an interesting demonstration of the optimal strategy in the game-theoretic Prisoner's Dilemma.

Nunca he visto este programa. But did she just royally screw that guy over? Man, you Brits have some hardcore game shows.

And "Golden Balls" is the best name ever.

Nope, I've never watched it either. And I don't know what the previous context of the clip was. But you're right - it certainly looks like she exploited her apparent vulnerability much to her own advantage. But after all, I suppose it is a GAME show, and she did make the optimal play (albeit in a manipulative way). Interesting though that she didn't seem able to look at the poor guy afterwards. I felt for the guy.

Ouch. That was rough. I guess it won't be long before this game show is exported to the U.S. But they'll probably have to change the name to something like "Brass Cojones" to get past the FCC censors.

That is unneccessary!! So now she potentially has a total nervous break-down for having appeared to be a manipulative evil scheming bxxxx in front of the whole world, but at least he gets to know he did the right thing! TV may be going too far...
