Hi Guys
I'm new to this site It is really very good to get information I am going to Barcelona next month (mid july) to do a spanish course for 4 weeks with quality courses.Has anybody heard of this school? I'm just a littler nervous paying them if they are not a legit school as when I asked the girl on the phone where the school is located she said she could not give that information over the phone!?! thats why I'm a little nervous I found their website through the internet browsing they could be genuine I hope they are as the website seems really professional.Maybe I'm just being over cautious! Has anybody heard of this school before I pay the course fee? Thanks so much DG |

They do give an address on their website;
C/ Girona, 38 ...any classes you receive will be as good as the teacher who gives it...which is saying, no guarantees, no promises. Basically, I think there are a millon language schools like these, all of which are out to make money (as are most of us) and so choosing one is very much a shot in the dark. I say this having taught in various language schools in Spain; I like to think that I give of my best, but I'd be hard pressed to say that my bosses ever looked beyond their profits... |

Yeah, I'd be skeptical of Harry Potter references too. Is payment expected in euros or Galleons?

There is the possibility that she did not speak enough English to explain to you where this street is. I would think it is quite difficult to explain to somebody if they did not know Barcelona. She may have meant she could not explain to you on the phone, (but she could do it on a map). Maybe she will send you some directions with a map in an e-mail.
Looking at the map, it is near avenida diagonal and also near the metro of Passeig de Gràcia |
