religious sayings

I'm new to all this, the first attempt at posting a 'thread' anywhere on anything in fact.
I have been learning Spanish for about 3 years now, self teaching. Its going ok but lack of speaking practice is a problem certainly.
Anyone know any religious sayings? I was reminded of one which is something like 'un bebe se bendice una casa', a baby blesses a house, because of Ben and Marinas' baby news. I am a non believer but am aware that the Spanish world is mostly Catholic, certainly an area to know about.
