Red face Question: When do we use a definite article in a sentence?

My question has to do with using a definite article when writing a sentence in Spanish. For instance, in the middle of a sentence does one usually need to use a definite article every time before introducing a noun?
In english its only necessary if the nouns are of different categories. I think?

Just wondering.

Que tengan un buen dia
