I use Amazon (UK) regularly without problem. I've never tried to ship to two different addresses though. Maybe like many mail order companies they only want to ship to your credit card address to cut down on fraud.
You could just order twice I suppose

Amazon normally allows you to ship to alternate addresses (at least, I have never had a problem asking them to deliver to friends, or to my work place)- but you have to reconfirm your credit card details for each new address.

I've used Amazon whilst I've lived in Alicante, Salamanca and Murcia areas without difficulty and I've shipped to UK and Spanish addresses with payment made from Spain on both Spanish and UK credit cards.
Not with Amazon but with other firms based in the UK I have had difficulty using UK credit cards where the contact address for that card has been in Spain. I think it has something to do with how different systems are able to verify card details so it may be the credit cards that are causing the difficultyrather than the Spanish addresses. |

I also use amazon UK regularly and they send to Madrid without a problem. I don't think I've used a Spanish card yet, but with the English one there's no problem at all.
Speaking of Amazon and English books, does anybody know how it's going to work with the Kindle now that it's coming our way? Thanks |

There is also a Kindle app we've had for a while for the iPhone.

I use Amazon (UK) regularly without problem.I used to buy books from Amazon.com because they have free shipping. However I heard about something that I plug on loads of forums which is a free website that will “watch” items for you on Amazon and let you know when amazon has them in stock at regular retail price.

I use amazon.co.uk regularly (at least once a month). However, I normally buy from the marketplace as it comes out cheaper.
I have since switched to bookdepository.co.uk (the Amazon marketplace vendor I always buy from anyway) because they offer free shipping worldwide and they don't stick me with some added VAT at the end of the purchase process like Amazon does. |
