Book swap/exchange

Hi all

One of my Spanish learning strategies is to read novels in Spanish. In truth I havenít read a novel in English for more than 5 years.

Every time I go to Spain (5 or 6 times a year) I bring back 1 or 2 and the family send me a fair number. Iíve accumulated quite a collection of both those of Spanish authors and translations, the later which I find can be easier to read.

I was wondering if there were enough UK based people here (sorry postage to costly to imagine overseas) to bother offering a book exchange?

Anyone interested or simply you have say 3 or 4 you wouldnít mind swapping?

I have a few novels in Spanish. Most or all have got plenty of pen and pencil scribbled in them where I have looked up words I didn't know. I don't know if that's a drawback. Also my packing of a book would probably be hopeless.

Is there such a thing as a book exchange site on the net?

BookCrossing
is an online book exchange web site. I've never used it so I can't say what it's like but there are books in Spanish and people from Spain who use it.
