I have explained it to him/her
Is it: 'se lo he explicado' 'to him it i have explained' instead of le lo he explicado
because of the two objects 'him' and 'it' coming together changing le to se?
My head hurts! ;D

That one does look good but I think it's a bit too advanced for me, I certainly can't read all of the Spanish, It would be awesome if it had a split page with English + Spanish, then I could work at...

I think the best resources are audio or video...
I think the best resources are audio or video with a good or native speaker accompanied with a transcript and at best bilingual transcripts, this way you can take chunks of the language and practice...

Yeah, I did get what they were talking about sometimes but some things I knew I couldn't string together fast enough and they'd moved on.

I guess it depends where you are likely to go...
I guess it depends where you are likely to go most, many people did tell me to stay away from the Argentine accent and that Mexican was clearest but I'm going to be in Spain more than anywhere else...

Acabo de terminar Pimsleur!
What a relief, I stopped and started for two years with this course! finding transcripts made a huge difference.
Assimil is next :)
