Default Nutria en Arriondas, Asturias

I took this in October from a park which runs alongside the Rio Sella in our small town. The otter had no fear, at one point there was 20+ people watching it (or may be they were watching the crazy guiri with his camera , who knows?).

I was really lucky and took photos for over an hour.

Here is my favourite and there are more on flickr

Snapped by Mrs Fawlty in Washington DC. These ladies are members of the Red Hat Society, and very friendly they were too! See this link for the poem by Jenny Joseph, which inspired the Society:

Our rental car, taken in Times Square. I think I must have put too much air in one of the tyres, but I could have overfilled the windscreen washer bottle. Never was much of a mechanic.

It wasn't because of the Alternate side of the Street parking rule in NYC?

I wish I was there! We haven't had a drop of snow yet, despite being at 1030m and the snow of last week around Madrid, but none here.

Edito: Ahora está nevando un poco.

AHA!!! At last I can return the favor and make a correction. (Not that you asked for it....haha!) Although many people forget to do it, one must use the subjunctive here: "I wish I were there." And naturally it made it start snowing the instant you said that . . .Really, I wish I were in that picture too, since here it is nothing but fog and mud. Not very Christmas-y.

You are right, of course. The only time I have ever used the subjunctive (almost) is when I was learning English and they always told you to make a composition with the title: "If I were a rich man..." or "If I were you..."

You have had a lot more snow than us in this part of Galicia. This is our house.
