Question Imminent visit to Spanish hairdresser!

I haven´t managed to get a decent haircut since moving to Lanzarote! My Spanish isn´t too bad (not as bad as my hair, anyway) but please could someone tell me how to ask for my hair to be layered, long layers and that I want to keep my fringe! Thank you!!

Pues, me gustaría que me lo cortara en capas, en capas largas y seguir con flequillo.

There's a Facebook group called something like ¿Que parte de "solo las puntas" no entienden las peluqueras? so my guess is that decent haircuts are as unlikely here as they are anywhere else
