Default "After you"?

What would you say in spanish that would be the equivalent to "After you" in english (when opening a door)?

Would it be something literal like después de usted, or is there another phrase you would use?

después de usted or después de ti - depending on how well you know them!

Could you also say something to the tune of "you first"?

"Adelante" is what I heard in metropolitan Mexico (Cuernavaca), but I also heard the (I suppose incorrect?) "Paso, paso"... I'm pretty sure I'm not confusing the ending vowel sound.

I have definitely heard 'pasa, pasa' and 'adelante' as well, which are more informal.

Sin duda la mejor opción (más un "por favor").
