Default "No hay mayor desprecio que no hacer aprecio"

I heard and read this expression a few times lately and I'm not sure I understand it. What does it mean? Gracias por explicarme!

Doesn't it mean there is no better way to depreciate than to not appreciate?

I've never heard it before, but it says "there isn't a worse denigration than not appreciating something"

I think it means that not being thankful or appreciative it's one of the worst things you can do to somebody *shrugs* But as I said, I've never seen it before, so I'm not completely sure, it's just what I can gather from what it says.

I heard it before, and I think it means that there's not better way of showing the contempt you have for someone than to ignore that person.
