Default Songs, lyrics and vocab

Maybe this is common knowledge, but then again maybe someone might find it useful. Im always trying to understand lyrics...its helped build my spanish vocabulary. When I listen to Llahsa for example though - Im struggling at times to find the words she uses. So...... this handy little tool came to my aid.
You will need an ipod (works with mini and later) and this little bit of software
http://www.ideographer.com/karatunes/

Simply play a song in itunes and it will find the lyrics and upload them to your pod. No more guessing randomly....or mumbling over words you cant make out. Its really useful and hopefully educational as well. For English language learners it would be useful I imagine too.

Only dont ask me if it works with PC´s. Im a mac only sort of guy. It may work with other screen based MP3 players....but again...dont ask me.

Default los pollitos

That looks pretty cool.I only learnt one song but I still remember it (I think)

Los pollitos dicen
Pió, pió pió
Cuando tienen ambre
y cuando tienen frío

La gallina busca
el maíz y el trigo
Les da la comida
Y les busca abrigo

Bajo sus dos alas
Acurracaditos
Y hasta el otro día
Duermen los pollitos

...I can still rock!

I agree, but its about portability, and I generally dont carry my screen around with me. Then again , others may!

Gotta be careful (if you're using a pc). Some lyrics sites have spyware and trojans embedded in their pages. I've cleaned up several clients' pcs who were infected this way.

Its a free download...but will only work with a ten song trial. Having said that its a pretty neat program and only costs about 11 dolars....must be about 10euros....not much really. Its does a lot more as well.....but alas.....it may be a big no no for you PC types.

Are macs common in Spain? I knew a german post-doc who said she only seen PCs in Germany, no macs. This was as recent as 2002.

Well, no macs in Germany isn't quite right. We have several friends with macs. But perhaps they are somewhat rare???? I don't really know.

Operating as the speed of sound would not make them a very fast machine.

I know people with macs in Spain but they are a minority. However since the ipods have become so fashionable you start to see a few more macs around.
