Default Un trén a punto de descarrilar

Pero los perros son mi pasión y tú un trén a punto de descarrilar............

This is a sentence that I have copied since it has a spanish idiom in it. "Un tren a punto de descarrilar".
When I first read this sentence I translated it into "But dogs are my passion and you're a train about to derail". I still keep that translation, then the question is what does it mean? At first I thought it ment that the reciever also was going to be strucked by passion to dogs.
Then i remember what a friend told me. She said that the spaniards were experts on speaking with splitted tongues. Yes that is a swedish idiom meaning that you are saying one thing but there can be a hidden message in it. But the reciever never know if it is or not so the sender always have his back free. Then I thought maybe the sender here is saying that the reciever is a passion that is going to derail.
What do you think, is it a double message or am I once again making my reading alot more difficult than it is?

I think you need to supply us with more information so we can try and understand the context better.

Maybe it means something like the person is crazy, always about to go crazy, explode etc, or just about to do something reckless.

I'm sorry but I don't have any more information. I just copied the line for the expression.
