Default Learning pronounciation on the Metro

When I was living in Madrid I learned a lot of pronounciation on the metro. The recorded voice told me the name of the next stop in advance and as I got better I'd try to guess the spelling before I got to the next station. A very cheap lesson - I seem to remember the metro tickets cost very little!

The buses too have announcements of the next stop, plus every quarter of an hour they tell you the time. It's that that got the "son" in my head for hours greater than 1.

Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I used to say them out loud, sometimes to the amusement of the whole carriage! K
