Jules, Ghosts of Spain es en ingles! Hicimos un podcast sobre los gitanos, no se si lo has oido ya o no. El post del podcast tenia unos enlaces interesantes tambien:

Quote:
This podcast, about the Gypsy population in Spain, was originally inspired by the story about the super ’simpa’ - when 200 Gypsies walked out of a restaurant without paying.
If you want to read more about Gypsies in Spain, unionromani.org is an interesting resource. And for some follow up reading, we recommend these three news articles from the past year: taking the law into their own hands, a traditional wedding with all the rites, and an innovative social program. Finally, for a colourful account of getting in with a Gypsy flamenco group, Duende is a very interesting read (in English).

Default los gitanos

If you have time...the incredibly paradoxical 'La Gitanilla' (you only find the paradox at the end) by Miguel de Cervantes who wrote Don Quixote.
