What I meant was, Who needs a Nikon D3X? John does! His photos certainly merit the investment!

I've been playing with HDR again, after looking around www.stuckincustoms.com

This image took an hour of manipulation, and 100 eruos in software (photomatix pro, and noise reduction software)! Hope it was worth it! (At least I can use the software repeatedly!)

Nice shot Ben. I've never tried HDR before, I'll have a go this weekend.....

I took this shot a few years ago but we did the same walk on Saturday and it reminded me to look again. Its a culebra de collar or grass snake (Natrix natrix) and dinner is a rana bermeja or european common frog (Rana temporaria). ¡Que aproveche!

Hello, may I join the group as a newbie here?

I have many doves and blackbirds visiting my computer room window every day where I'm usually sitting inside with a camera at the ready to catch them as they pick at the dry cat food I leave outside on the windowsill.

I originally meant it as food for blackbirds only, but someone passed the word around the local dove community and they come to take what they can find.
So at least it gives me some closeup opportunities in exchange for buying them the food.

This thread has had no new postings for sometime.
We have managed to have a few days free recently, well one free the other partly working. First photo is of the Cathedral in Ourense. The "Portico del Paraiso"
The second was taken inside the Cathedral of Santiago. A sacerdote waiting to take confessions.
